The route for our round-the-world trip is now ready; we had a couple of versions earlier, especially regarding the last part, when we are in Asia, but now it is pretty much finalized. As you can see, we start in Copenhagen and travel towards west until we make our way back to Copenhagen again. On the map I have indicated the places we will visit with blue markers and the international flights we will take with black arrows. We will take a couple of domestic flights in Peru, Argentina, Australia and China, but I did not want to make the map too complicated, so I decided to omit these flights from this overview.
The timeline for the trip looks like this:
25 of Aug. - 28 of Sept.: US road trip from San Francisco to Las Vegas
28 of Sept. - 2 of Nov.: Peru & Bolivia starting in Lima and finishing in Salar de Uyuni
2. Nov. - 1 of Feb.: Chile, Argentina & Brazil starting in San Pedro de Atacama finishing in Rio de Janeiro
3 of Feb. - 1 of March: New Zealand starting in Auckland and finishing in Queenstown
1 of March - 18 of March: Australia starting in Melbourne and finishing in Perth
18 of March - 9 of Apr.: Philippines & Malaysia starting in Singapore and finishing in Kuching
8 of Apr. - 12 of May: China starting in Hong Kong and finishing in Beijing
12 of May - 27 of May: Japan starting and finishing in Tokyo
The plan is that I will create a post for each place, we visit, probably not in real time, as I won't be able to use the internet everywhere, we travel. I am most excited about China and if I will be able to access this site from there. Well, we will see...
Anyway, I do not want to bore you with long posts; therefore, I will mostly share pictures and maybe short videos, so you can see the different places through my eyes.
