As many other travelers, we also have a bucket list for each travel; a list of things we want to do, see and experience on a trip. Last year I had the pleasure to cuddle a koala in Queensland, snorkel at the Great Barrier Reef and see an opera at the Sydney Opera House.

This is the bucket list for this trip and the places, we are planning to do them:

- visit Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon (US)

- see a grizzly bear (US)

- take cool photos of the Antelope Canyon (US)

- see orcas in the wild; hopefully while they are catching seals (US & Argentina)

- visit Machu Picchu (Peru)

- see Lake Titicaca  (Peru & Bolivia)

- experience the jungle and catch a piranha (Bolivia)

- cross the Salar de Uyuni (Bolivia)

- see the Atacama Desert (Chile)

- visit the most southern city in the world (Argentina)

- see penguins in the wild (Argentina & Chile)

- hiking in Torres del Paine (Chile)

- see Aconcagua (Argentina)

- swim with seals (Argentina)

- learn some cool tango moves (Argentina)

- see Iguazú Falls (Argentina & Brazil)

- see Christ the Redeemer (Brazil)

- visit the places where Lord of the Ring was shot (New Zealand)

- walk on a glacier (New Zealand)

- swim with wild dolphins (New Zealand & Australia)

- take a selfie with a qoukka (Australia)

- swim with whale sharks (Philippines)

- swim with sea turtles (Philippines)

- see orangutans in the wild (Borneo)

- visit the Petronas Twin Tower (Malaysia)

- see the "avatar mountains"  at Zhangjiajie National Park (China)

- visit the backbone of the dragon rice terraces (China)

- cuddle a baby panda (China)

- hiking at Jiuzhai Valley National Park (China)

- visit a Tibetan buddhist temple (China)

- walk on the Great Wall of China (China)

- indulge in sushi (Japan)

- take a bath in a traditional Japanese spa called onsen (Japan)

- sleep in a traditional Japanese inn called ryokan (Japan)

- visit the bamboo forest at Kyoto (Japan)

As you can see, we will be quite busy in the next 9 months.:))  I am very looking forward to updating you on how it is going with ticking these items off our list.
